Bert-Co is committed to the principles and practices of environmental responsibility. Our mission is to be a good corporate citizen to the community in which we work and the earth on which we live. We will continue to seek process improvement methods and review materials that reduce resource consumption.

Further we commit to expand our use of Agri-based inks and coatings, purchase chlorine free paperboard from well managed forests. We will include environmental issues in all our planning and decision making so to reduce the environmental impact of our products or services.

Here are some quick facts about how we can make your packaging "greener."  We offer:

• FSC (Forest Stewardship Council FSC-C021845) Certified paperboard stock - with the use of their logo
• SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) Certified paperboard stock - with the use of their logo
• Vegetable-based inks
• Potlatch paperboard - uses 70% post-industrial waste in making SBS stock
• 30%Post-Consumer-Waste stock from Meadwestvaco
• Offer new structural designs that reduce material usage
